A little bit of egg-stra time

5 April 2022

With Easter just around the corner, you may be thinking of using the extra few days to spruce up the garden or decide it’s time to tackle those do-it-yourself jobs. Whether it’s the garden or the home, there are plenty of TV shows that could provide you with inspiration.

From the stunning transformations featured on Grand Designs (More4), making the impossible possible in George Clark’s Amazing Spaces (4Seven), to the simply stunning ideas in Dream Home Makeover with Sophie Robinson (My5), there are so many DIY shows on TV you could be tempted to put down the paint brush, put your feet up and simply watch others do all the hard work.

If the garden is in need of a tidy or a complete makeover and you need some inspiration, take a leaf out of Alan Titchmarsh’s book and the team on Love Your Garden (ITV) as they transform tired and neglected backyards into beautiful masterpieces. You can also get some great ideas from the Garden Rescue (TogetherTV) team as they turn a sketch into reality or for practical advice, where better than Gardeners World (BBC).

If you’ve decided to watch home improvements or gardening programmes during the holiday for inspiration at a later time, don’t let TV interference spoil your viewing. It may not be the mythical Easter bunny that’s causing the issue – there’s a small chance it may be due to upgrades to mobile signals and we’re here to help.
